Sep 17,  · I enjoy reading Ralph Waldo Emerson's poetry but gave this book a 3-star rating based on the arrangement of the poems; e.g., the very first poem is entitled, Good-Bye, in which he summarizes his past life and preparation for death. It's a good poem but would be more effective as the last poem to be read, not the first/5(12).
